My name is Roel Harbers, a software professional with 25 years of experience designing and implementing software products in various industries. I pride myself on my eye for quality and detail, User and Developer Experience, testability, reusability and agility.

My main focus is on backend software, either cloud-native or on-premise, but I can do front-end or full-stack work as well.

I am most experienced in Go, Python and PHP, but have worked in other languages as well. I don't think the exact programming language and platform matters too much, and my skills easily transpose between them.
